Bicycle Train participants?

I didn't get any bites from the Advocacy forum, so I hope there might be
someone on this forum who is participating in or knows anything about
the Bicycle Train program where volunteers ride escorting kids to school?

Apparently, it's a complement to the Walking School Bus program, but I
haven't heard anything about this bicycle variant.

I am trying to contact the person in our local school district who's responsible
for setting it up here, but I've only exchanged a brief hello and I'm interested
conversation so far.

'Bicycle Train' are more popular in Canada. Haste offers free starter kits, but may only apply in Canada. More info:

Duluth, GA is the only active U.S. bike train reference I could find:

Oregon is starting/funding their own program:

Re: Bicycle Train info

Thank you for those links, I've passed them on to the person coordinating our local program. I guess the 'glass half full' way to view these links is that apparently we'll be in the vanguard of this program

I'm looking forward to this, it's going to be interesting.
