I already have a trailer attached to my bike for my two daughters of 5 and just about 3 years. I absolutely love pulling them along and they love it too. However I would like my five year old (who is not a confident child) to get involved with the cycling (before she gets too lazy) and so have been considering a 'tag along'.
I use the bike/trailer on a daily basis as I take the girls to school and back - which isn't a very long journey. My initial thoughts were ...a tag along for my 5 yr old and a child seat for my three year old. This is where the problem is. I have been told that I am unable to attach a child seat to the rear of a bike when using a tag along.
My three year old is very petite and I would not consider at this stage a tandem tag along. So then there's the option of a front fitting child seat. But how does one cope with a child in front of them when cycling? Or have I been mis-informed and is there a way of attaching a tag along and a rear babyseat?
I would love to have some advice.
