Landrider Bike ?
First let me say I'm not looking for a new bike. I just purchased A Trek 7100, and I love this bike. I was surfing the channels on the tv the other night and saw about the last 10 minutes of a infomercial concerning the landrider bike. I am just curious if anyone has purchased this bike? Here is their website. https://www.landrider.com
The bike has auto shifting, and a 30 day money back guarantee. I've saw a lot of infomercials over the last few years. I have never saw a informercial marketing a bicycle before. If anyone has purchased this bike. Let us know. Just curious

The concept is great. Anything to get more people to ride bicycles is great. Unfortunately, the bike is garbage. So they get turned off from cycling at the start.

I actually saw someone with a Landrider on the train a couple times. But I don't see it anymore.

I have two Landriders that were abondoned at work (a vaction resort). I put a new chain on one of them and rode it. It shifted like the ads said it would, but it is offensivly loud. The frame is like a $49 big box bike.

In the past month the Land Rider infomercial has been on TV about 10 times a day. I would love to test ride one to see what it is like, but you have to assume the bike is junk because it is so inexpensive. If it was a great bike, they would charge twice the price for it. The Land Rider company sells them cheap on Ebay, if you are brave enough to give it a try.
I've wondered if the reason Land Rider does not sell to bike shops is because they know they would not sell them if the buyer could test the bike before buying.
