Technical Comparison - Specialized Sirrus Elite vs Jamis Allegro 3

I'm close to buying a 2011 bike to supplement by touring bike, strongly considering a Specialized Sirrus Elite or a Jamis Allegro 3. So far I prefer their ride over the Trek 7.3, which I think has better parts. Both bikes ride great for me, so I'm hoping to get some input on components: derailleurs, shifters, crankset, cassette. One major concern I have is the Allegro's FSA Vero crankset and SRAM powerglide cassette, which I didn't think were very good. My head is spinning on the Shimano components, as well.

Any help from those who know their parts would be appreciated.
