We have the Croozer Kid for 2. I managed to find one brand new, but in damaged packaging for ~$120 shipped. It seems pretty nice and had the greatest distance between seat and roof. That was important because our 1 year old is in the 97th percentile for height (and her parents are both over 6'), so I imagine she'll need something with lots of room. So far I like the stability and low center of gravity, but I will agree with you that the wide stance taking up a lot of room makes things a challenge. Fortunately for us, we don't have a car, but do have a garage, so it just sits at the entrance ready to go next to the Bob that we usually use to push her around. I'm hoping to get back to riding my bike to commute more so the trailer will get some use pulling our daughter to day care (where I can put the stroller wheel on it so my wife-who works nearby and walks too and from-can push her home). I tried a few times pushing the stroller with one hand and the bike with the other for the mile to the day care, but it was a pain. Hopefully the trailer will be the answer.

I have both trailer and bike seat- i love my bike seat- we can chat and ride and he can still nap, plus he's safely with me not behind and under car viewing space.
All about preferences tho!
