Car Seat

My wife and I were discussing something the other day. We wondered if there was a way to put an infant car seat in a bike trailer. Any thoughts.

I had a friend do that and it worked great, obviously you still have to choose smooth road surfaces, but it worked for her. I'd do it if necessary.

I've seen this many times on various sites and blogs, and I'm planning to try it myself in the near future. It's not "authorized" of course, so you need to invent your own way of securing it, but it seems like a pretty safe way to transport an infant in a trailer.

I'm pretty sure it could be done, however how comfortable it might be with a helmet on is another question as helmet laws deal with a top age but not a low age. I'm also presuming the baby is over 1 year old as many states have laws requiring the baby to be at least one. NY state is one of them I've come across.
