started biking today

This is what got me started in biking today. I answered an ad for an upright freezer from a family that was moving... They asked if I needed a bike...A Giant boulder with 17 in frame...(I'm only 5'6") 45 bucks! what a deal.

Awesome find. Giant makes a good product, you'll be happy with it. Rack up the miles and ride safe.

You can buy a stem riser which will bring the stem up 3.5 inches for under $20 on Amazon. The brand name is Delta. Just enter "Delta stem riser" in the query box. I have one on my old Balance mountain bike. They also carry it at REI if you are a member but the price is $22.

I'll have to remember that riser. I have an online friend in a musician forum that wants to get a bike and is worried about being too bent over. That riser could be just what Don needs.
