frame material for rear child seat (aluminum or steel)

I has an old road bike with steel frame to which i attached Yepp Maxi rear seat to carry my 2-year old. But now need to buy a new bike and am contemplating whether to stay with steel or buy an aluminum bike. I got mixed answers from different bike shops - some said steel only, others told me aluminum is fine to attach the seat too.

Will be glad to hear thoughts on this topic from the forum.
