So, the implication is that you see some "beardie weirdies" on bents and that means all bent riders are that way. OTOH, I have noticed that a lot of the homeless people around here are on mountain bikes, I can feel free to make unflattering assumptions about mountain bikes?

At no point did I imply that. There are at least a few bearded individuals on trikes who can not hold a line. just in my area. Despite the OP's belief that such a thing is impossible

Were you pulling a shopping cart piled high with all your possessions?

Saw a post in Bentrider recently; a new triker who said he was having trouble with pedal wobble. Didn't say whether or not he was clean-shaven.

Please do!

See what I mean? Those guys were sideways the whole way down. No handling skills at all. All they need is beards and rugby shorts and they'd fit in perfectly with the crowd I'm speaking of.

I can't see if you have facial hair, so no good way to tell. Those kids like like they are having a blast though. Is that the Hudson?

Those trikes are not the trikes that normal bent riders ride. They are little more than glorified big wheels.

Wow, I kept worrying I'd break my neck just watching that. I guess when you're young, it never occurs to you that a car might accidentally get in your way.

I think those people standing around down lower were lookouts for that very thing. Agreed on breaking my neck. My concern would be if I came off the tricycle, I'd be afraid I'd roll to the bottom regardless!

Rydabent, hopefully you recognized there was some humorous intent in my posting of that video. I didn't go looking for it, I just ran across it on wimp.com while killing time, and remembered the "3 wheel menaces" line up above there! It looked to me like those tricycles didn't actually have pedals, just foot pegs, so they're pure roll-down-the-hill machines.

I don't have facial hair in that shot, but I usually do in the winter.

Yes, that is the Hudson. This is on the Dutchess County Rail Trail (with about 30 other 'bent riders). Everybody had a blast.

We are talking bicycles here. There is no room for humorous intent. This is serious business. The number of fools on DFs increases everyday and they must be stopped!

OOOh OOOh, he needs to wear some kind of mask and his weapon should be some kind of riding crop, His M.O. should be he is racing by unsuspecting pedestrians and swatting them on the butt as he zooms by but prefers regular bike riders. LOL

I was honestly wondering if my wife was going to sprout a beard from riding a tadpole. Guess I know now....she's already got the 'bent grin.
