With the new weather predictions for snow, rain and 30 mph winds at the Major Taylor velodrome this Saturday a new event has been added to the race schedule.
At 1 PM the 1st annual HPV Crash Slide Out event will take place.
All participants are required to use dual disc wheels and go as fast as possible with skinny high pressure tires for a .5 kilo distance after a 1 lap run up.
This event is guaranteed to offer some fast high speed slide outs when turning on the high bank of the Major Taylor velodrome track directly into the 30+ mph north wind. Three prizes will be offered.
1st prize 1 double Wendy's cheeseburger and Biggie fries for longest fastest chip timed crash slide.
2nd prize 1 Wendy's Frosty for biggest road rash of the day.
3rd prize 1 large jar of Skippy smooth PB for least scratches on the recumbent.
Come one come all to this inaugural HPV event guaranteed to be entertaining.
