So I took my vision out for a touch 76 mile ride this weekend, half on limestone trail, other half on highway in headwind.

In some ways it was not so bad, but I have to admit I was getting uncomfortable.

About 60 miles in I was really starting to hurt but I soldiered on. IN fact I made two very short stops on the entire return route which may be why I was hurting so much.

When I got home and got off the bike, I literaly couldn't get up the stairs, my rear felt like I had landed on it from 10 feet in the air, it was so sore and numb. my knees and feet had a real bad "deep" ache, but were otherwise OK.

I think the fact that I was stuck in the same position for so long was the cause. This was the farthest I've riden the bent. I do have to admit that for the first 55 miles it was very comfortable.

While I like the bent I perfer being able to move around and stand up on a DF bike. Maye I just need more miles on the bent.

I think you just overdid it. Those muscles weren't ready for a tough ride yet.

I just did 132 miles on my Strada not too many weeks ago and was amazed at how long the carbon seat stayed comfortable. I had achy knees as well (have been doing centuries sporadically through the summer but it had been close to 2 months since my last one so 132 miles was probably pushing it for me too (had epic heat too which I am sure did not help much either). I had Butt pain on long rides too but found I eliminated it by pulling my seat closer to the pedals.
