Laid back
Having spent a great deal of time in the Advocacy and Safety forum, now stopping in to the Recumbent forum, the atmosphere is much more laid-back, friendly and supportive. It reminds me of when I first started posting in the Commuting forum. Everyone wanted to help each other and it was a very inspiring, productive atmosphere.
I think I'll keep coming back!

For me that comes with my riding. My wife told me yesterday that she would have been mad if I hadn't ridden. Why, cause it seems I'm just more mellow when I do. So when I do ride I want everyone to feel as good as I do.
The Advocacy and Safety forum I feel is an important part of these forums, but it could use a little less hostility.

I've never visited there, but it seems like that would be a good place to encounter highly opinionated individuals, and be a good place for, um, intellectual clashes. Not that I can't be highly opinionated at times...

We spend our time riding. It's quite a mellowing experience. 'Nough said.
