Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Cyclists ,watch Out For Your Important Bits.!

Many claims have been made about df riding causing impotence.
Now i read a artical in Cycling Plus about a study done on moutain
bikers showing that 88% of them have scrotal abnormalitys compard with 26% of none cyclists.,and that they only had a sperm count which was a 3rd of non cyclists.
Yet another reason to ride a recumbent.

Yeah, but we have so many other abnormalities, that the scrotal thing is really no big deal!

This is true.
Most people think abnormal because i ride a recumbent.
But then again years ago i would have been abnormal saying the world is round.

Should there be a poll on "Scrotal Abnormalities" to gauge the impact of cycling on motility counts among the male BF membership? On second thought, maybe we shouldn't go there....

That is a non-scientific interpretation of an article in The Lancet medical journal. The origanl paper made it quite clear that the control group were cycle commuting medical students NON non-cyclists.
The mountain bikers were not weekend warriers, but hardcore extreme downhill riders who rode every day they could.
