carbon cranks 155mm in a triple?

hey, I've been searching for a decent carbon crank with 155mm length arms. Looking for a triple ring setup to throw on some rotor q-rings. I've found plenty of carbon bmx cranks with interchangeble spiders and such where I could easily do a double ring setup, but the q-factor on the bmx cranks seem a bit wide. I hoping to find a splined setup like isis or something. anyone have any ideas?

Shoot, I'd settle for 165 mm carbon cranks in triple. Seen any of those?

actually, I do believe I have already found some carbon cranks in 165mm can't recall if they were triple though. If I run across them again, I'll let ya know.

How important is it that they be carbon? If you're just testing the concept and aluminum is OK, you can try my set of 155s. They use a Shimano square bottom bracket, which I may also have, and are 110 BCD.

You can also use tandem crank shorteners to try out the concept as well and will fit any set of cranks. Nice find on those BMX cranks from FSA - they'll go down to 160mm.

Although I am pretty sure that velokraft will custom make cranks in carbon as well, won't they?

Why?.. for the bling? They're not particularly light.

15mm triple crank bolt set from Hostelshoppe.com (or other merchants) plus one more ring the same size bcd as the other two. That's how my double Truvativ Elita crankset became a triple.

That is true of most carbon cranks that I've looked at. If they are light, I can't afford them.

Bling works for me, too, just agreeing with the lack of weight savings thing.

I hope we agree that it would be lighter than a rotor crank.................. Rotor just plain needs to come up with a lighter setup.

y'know, I need new cranks myself. If I were to buy a pair of BMX 155 cranks, standard 110bcd, can I make them a triple?

interloc racing designs makes a chainring 110 bcd that has the points to mount an inner 74bcd ring to.
http://www.interlocracing.com/triplizer.html with this you can make a 110bcd double crankset into a triple.
