Paid in full!

Well Monday I sent my payment for my first Recumbent bicycle, a good as new used Agio with upgrades in various places.
After I sent in the payment I noticed that for the last two days I have been really cranky, then I realized that I was just excited, restless and anxious about my bike. Once I realized what was bothering me I did a mental shift and made myself concentrate on the good things. So, I bought a set of clipless shoes to go with my pedals I have yet to buy. Then I went helmet hunting and found some for 40 bucks, going in tomorrow to get the pedals and helmet. that should take my mind off of the bike until it arrives, and if that doesn't help I'll go make some extensions for the fenders so I can be mud free or at least mud lessor.
Well I am so excited about my new bike that I just needed to share, rejoice with me brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers.

I've been waiting for Bram Moens to make mine since November. The agony is killing me. One more delay and I'm personally going to go to Denmark and take it from him!

" After I sent the payment I noticed the last two days I have been really cranky"

Maybe it's just a little "buyers remorse". We all get it from time to time. Just remember that you've done the research, got a good buy, and a good bike......now it's time to ride and a have some fun!

What bike do you plan on getting? Something faster I presume?

It's a M5 TiCa I've had on order since Nov.. Stock is 22 pounds, but Garrie hill is going to make a carbon fiber boom and tiller, and some wheel covers for it. I'm putting Bram's super light brakes and the whale tail aero brake levers on it. I figure it'll come in at around 21 when I'm done - 3 or 4 pounds lighter than my old Baron. At Xenia last October I rode the tica and a vk2 and a fujin SL, and the fujin was just a bad bike for my body, and the vk2 just felt a bit dead. The Tica was a plush ride. Looks like it can recline farther as well.

Considered a nocom for a while but I'm not enough of a tinkerer to keep messing with it constantly, so the Tica it is!

Not remorse, I went out today and bought the pedals and helmet, then got home and found out they shipped it today and the shoes were also shipped today.
My wife asked me about my bike pedals first thing when she got home, she is almost as excited as I am. I want to go out and push the delivery truck to make it go faster.
Yeah I have been doing my research for a few months now and sure I made the right decision.
On another note I have come to the realization that I (at 52) need to start living my passions and not hold back anymore.
