How long should I wait to start riding again?

Hi Forumeers,

I broke my leg riding my bet on April 19th. I wanna start riding again. I'm wondering if anyone out there has broken a leg and had to wait to ride again. How long did you have to wait. Are there any special cautions I should be aware of when I start riding again.

At prsent I am just starting to walk without a cast. About two weeks ago I got a removable cast which I wore for about a week and for the next week I was in and out of it depending on how good my leg felt and how much walking I was planning on doing.

I'm thinking I should be able to start riding again in a week or two as long as I am pretty careful about it an have someone with me.

The Summer is going by and they don't last very long here in Central Minnesota!

Thanks for all you input!
