Any info on a Quetzal recumbent ?

Mostly, is it going to support a 375# uber-clyde ?
Anyone has more info about it ? I googled it but did not find anything significant.

Thanks in advance.

I doubt a monotube design like that would have the carrying capacity for you. I don't have another suggestion though.

If you don't an answer on here try positing at BROL.

I agree about the monotube. At the least, it would be unpleasantly bouncy with 375 pounds on it. The Sun series, especially the steel models, would be better. By happy circumstance, the steel ones are less expensive! The seat might have to be strengthened, the base is (I think) only plywood. A couple layers of carbon would do the trick! And the wheels might not last long. If the wheels start failing, they could be replaced with higher-spoke-count ones.

Thanks to all for your replies.
I guess it's back to saving for my lightfoot bent then.
