New Trike Ordered!
Put my order in yesterday for a brand spanky new TerraTrike Cruiser. I don't expect it to perform like a Catrike road, but hope to make it at least be able to hold it's own with some new 100psi tires, and titanium idler pully etc... Thanks again for the support and the info that you have all shared. Perhaps there is some truth to the claim, that trikes will rule the world someday... Anybody have experience with ship times from Wizwheels? Can't wait!

Jeez vik, the man put over a grand (not an insubstantial sum to many of us) into what looks like a nice bike. Could he get more if he spent almost a grand more? Sure, but that's true of anything out there. Don't be a buzzkill, let him enjoy the toy!
Ryan, congrats, ride the hell out of it, let us know how it goes.

Talking to our local triker dealer Wiz Wheels response time on an order is around 2 weeks.

Fast tires, clipless pedals and maybe some Q-rings are all you need to get, to squeeze the most performance out of that trike. Congrats on the new ride!

Along the lines of Vik's advice, don't be afraid of personalizing it, but don't spend a boatload trying to make it something it isn't. Which I think was the gist of Vik's original post. BTW, that advice holds for just about any bike/trike. As one guy on another list once wrote of his quest for the most upgraded Bike-E in history, "You can train a pig to race, but it'll never be a racehorse, just a fast pig."
Enjoy the trike!
