Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Underway Replenishment

Ha Ha, you Navy Vets will get this, it tickled me.

My wife recently got a Catrike Road, and we have started riding together. Her Fastback system has been back ordered so she does not have water except for one bottle.

Last ride she used up her bottle and got thirsty, so she cruised up along side my Road and I handed her the tube from my Fastback. We road along slowly and she got a drink.

It reminded me of an underway replenishment.

As a Navy Vet, it would have reminded me of easy targets.

Navy Aviation would just bomb you, then land on the carrier and let them replenish.
Good story.

Adding Stinger Missile in addition to depth charge racks.

Did the motorists get nervous when you pulled out the M-79 to fire the shot line over?

We were close enough that I just twirled a monkey's fist overhead and heaved away.
