If you have a chance to get a Greenspeed GT3 for a good deal... BUY IT!

Greenspeed is considered top of the line with great customer service. Models have been stable for many years so the only question is milage. If the components are still in great shape, they can get up into the $3k range depending on options and condition. Anything under $2K for a clean GT3 should be a great deal.

If you're not a BROL member yet, I'd recommend asking there too: LINKED HERE

Commuting on a trike is only slightly more complex as you are riding on three lines instead of one. With good visibility ques, a trike is often given more room than a bike. I don't recommend trikes or bikes for that matter on a two-lane/two-way especially with blind corners.

Great trike, but I am biased , they are close to unbreakable and with the drum brakes, need very little maintenance.
They sit you a little more upright than some, but it makes watching the traffic easier.
The gearing is great for most terrain but if where you live is very steep a quick swap of the front cranks for MTB ones will lower the gearing perfectly with no other changes.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Agreed, I rode one recently and IT WAS FUN! It was a sports car as far as how it felt. My next HPV is going to be one I think!
