Congrats - I just set a PR of 36.5kph on a 60km route I ride a lot - not a huge amount of climbing so you definitely got me beat. Good to know - I won't be racing you for "pink slips"...

nice! I've got to check and see what the elevation profile looks like now for the ada time trial in grand rapids. that is a 15 mile course out and back. I'm guessing not as hilly because I had somewhere near a 27 mph average on it a couple years ago. took 3rd place for the year.
so, any word as to whether or not you will be going to brat this year?

Alas, I have been told no on the BRAT. It's just too much time to take off. I won't have enough accrued vacation time and I've got to take a few days off before our christmas vacation for foot surgey - 4 weeks with zero pressure on my foot allowed. It's going to SUCK.
However, I will be going to hawkeye downs and xenio this year. You've GOT to come to xenia and race!

The Recumbent King. Cannon Ball Bill will be at Xenia with his younger training partner Doug Jacobs. Both will be on NoComs, But sure Dennis the Mennis and his side kick will be the ones to watch.

Dennis embarrassed me at last year's Xenia race. I'm gonna slash his tires beforehand this time. He'll probably only beat me by a quarter lap then

No destruction of property. But maybe I can help you by making sure his brakes are improperly adjusted and tire inflation is not more than 45 PSI.

*laugh* anything would help. During the 45 minute race last year, I got so tired of seeing him lapping me that I nearly gave myself a heart attack lapping him once. He was impressed enough to compliment me on it - being the only one of the group to do so. And amused when I called out "on yer left." He still did like 14 more laps than me though
