do you think they could mabey put some more parts and gears on this thing. I like the idea of a leaning trike but this is outta control, and these guys got a patent for it. Hmmm

It's a pretty smart design, that offers a neat solution to the fwd issue of chain hitting the front wheels I think. I'd imagine that it was deigned by an Engineer rather than an accountant! It looks seriously expensive to produce.

I have built and ridden a front wheel drive and I did it to make the drive train simple. (See in Alt Bikes) It wasn't significantly simplified however just shorter. This design does address the pedal/steering interference but at cost of complication only an engineer could love. By the way I'm not an engineer but I do love the complicated design to look at. This was floating around the internet a few years ago in prototype and at about the same time I ran across an individual that was doing a homemade version of the front wheel drive and as I recall they were not in cahoots. The home made version used a 3/8ths socket drive u-joint as the u-joint. Very clever but still to complicated for any but a frustrated engineer (tee hee). The leaning trike can be much simpler by making the back wheels lean instead of just the front which has it own its special complications.

Seems to me this trike isn't very stable in turns.. combine the rider sitting high up from the ground, short wheelbase and narrow spacing between teh rear two wheels.. it's the trifecta..

The Q-lowracer looks like a fun ride... until I looked more into it.. ride would need to be "bow-legged" in order to make a u-turn.
