Specs for 2000 Rans Rocket?

A year ago I bought a used 2000 Rans Rocket, but the previous owner did not have the owners manual. What I am looking for is info on the size of the stock chainrings.

The gearing on my Rocket does not allow me enough spin to make it up steep hills. This makes me think that, perhaps, the chainrings are not original. When in the hardest gear, I suspect one could go at leat 50 miles an hour, so I am thinking maybe something has been altered.

I suspect the chaing rings are original. They are 65 to 63 for the biggest outer ring, 52 then 39. I found this to be way to big for the hills in SE Ohio. I changed to 28, 42, 50. Will get a 54 sometime in order to up the top speed but this is the set up that I had lying around and really like it for the type of riding I do here.

Your situation may be different.

You can go on the Rans website and get the contact phone number. Give them a call and they will probably be able to answer your questions or even send you a spec sheet.
