Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

I posted yesterday, I believe, re what I thought was a new design for a recumbent. This was a sitting type bike, a cross between a 'regular' bike and a recumbent. I learned in a reply that Giant also makes a similar type bike which was news to me.

I see now, unless I'm mistaken, that the tread in question has been deleted. I don't work for the company that makes the bike and posted to try and learn more.

Have I crossed a line here that I shouldn't have? I am not a regular in this forum but have posted in the past when I needed information. Dave Horne

There was a database corruption and Joe had to have a recovery from backups done so all posts made during the last day or so have been lost. Most likely, Joe will make another announcement explaining what happened. There were several threads and posts ongoing during the problem and before the restore that sort of explained what was happening but the restore must have wiped them out.

This happens every few months. As Khuon says it is no reflection on your post or editing there of. I suspect there are limits on posting as you will note the generally sober and friendly nature of this website and a lack of flames and divergent threads. The civility is very pleasant compared to some of the usenet sites. On the opening screen for the forum there are three administrative forums and any forum technical problems are quickly posted there. If it happens again look there for an explanation. Steve
