Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

First century on my 'bent

Yesterday (Saturday) I did my first ever recumbent century! It was a much nicer ride than the last one I did on my DF. The ride report is in the PNW section, here, if you're interested.

I felt better after this ride than any previous long ride. My rear didn't hurt and I wasn't anywhere near as sore as I've been in the past. The speed wasn't that good, but I *did* get lost and have to climb one mother of a hill.

I can only fit two chain rings on my recumbent model (65/42) so most big hills beat me
