Recumbent butt on an EZ-1

I've had an EZ-1 for about 15 months. I can't get the seat back slung far enough back to get rid of my recumbent butt. I 've been thinking about changing out the front fork to take a 20" tire, see if that would help. (It'd lean the entire frame back another couple of inches, raise the bottom bracket slightly relative to the seat.)

Does anyone have experience of this, to know if it would help?

When I was first researching the possiblity of buying a EZ sport Lmtd I read a post from an EZ 1 rider who had this problem. His fix was to install a couple of spacers (I believe he used auto shock aborber washers) to hike up the front of the seat. After about 50 miles on my sport lmtd I knew I needed the same thing, but all I had was some flat washers. I put in 3 or 4 in front and it has done the trick. I think I would try this before buying a new fork and wheel.

Good luck
