Recumbent Primer for Newb?

Hi, obvious newb here.
Any links for a recumbent primer? I can almost figure out what you people are talking about but I'm having some trouble with abreviations.
Mr. Google found https://www.recumbents.com/home.asp , and of course https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recumbent_bicycle.
Ah, wiki helped me figure out "DF" is Diamond Frame, got it. Well, that was the abrev. I was puzzling over (I could tell by the context but I wanted to know what the letters stood for).
Pointless post, I guess.
I recently got back into cycling after a 30-year absence. Haven't quite dialed in my DF bikes for fit yet--chronic back--'bents might be more to my liking. I love riding the rails-to-trails, and utility biking appeals to me.

Apart from DF, what are some of the other bent related abreviations you are having trouble with?
Glad to help. Mike

I was going to ask what a tadpole trike is, but Wiki answered again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tricycle
Like I said, pretty much a pointless post on my part.
I thought maybe there is an online recumbent glossary, like this for general bikes: https://www.bicyclesource.com/bicycling_glossary

One of the many great shops selling recumbents provides some basics.
https://www.bicycleman.com/recumbents...t_glossary.htm

And Legs Larry sorts out acronyms.
