Is there a wrong side? You're just supposed to start with whichever leg is most comfortable. I normally start with the right pedal up, but I've had people question why -- after all, if my left foot slips, I'll fall into traffic! OTOH, (my argument) overbalancing and falling to my non-supported side is the more likely scenario, and in that case I'll fall away from traffic. Besides, due to the crowning of most roads, the left side will be higher than the right, and therefore it's easier to reach the ground with the left foot.
Not sure who the target audience for the video is -- most/all of us here already know how to start.
