$1k ER Gold Rush
Someone has a nice looking Easy Racer GRR in the local Craigslist for 1k. I know nothing about the bike OR its owner. That's a spooky low price for such a high $ machine. Makes me wonder if it's stolen.

That is a very, very low price.
It would be unusual for such an easily identifiable bike to be posted on Craigslist if it were stolen.
Quiet a find! If they have the manual, then it is highly unlikely for it to be stolen.

Perhaps. But I find it odd too that the title reads only, "Recumbent Bike". No Easy Racer, no Gold Rush, no GRR, just generic "recumbent". No ph# either and it's decked-out with high $ components (carbon fenders?). Not implying it's stolen, just seems a bit unusual.

It could be stolen, or the owner could have died, and the person in charge of selling could know nothing about it.

Yes, it could be stolen. But most stolen bikes which are easily identified/unusual, the thief doesn't post pictures. The description doesn't read like a stolen bike to me.
The bike is 11 years old. Some people think that means it isn't worth nearly as much.
I recently purchased a SWB bent for about 25% of what it would sell for new, which had 300-400 miles on it, because the owners were moving and had to dump 3 bikes.
