Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

panniers for trikes

Looking at the size of the Ortlieb panniers, I don't see why they wouldn't work on a trike. I see that a regular recumbent might not be able to use these because they tilt, but as long as it's not touching the ground when it's mounted, it should be fine, right? Or am I missing something?

I have the Ortlieb Sport Packers on my TT Sport and there's plenty of clearance. I had plenty of packing space for a ten day tour, but am considering upgrading to the Bike Packers.
