Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Sold my Strada SN-0001

Decided I didn't need the N+1 bike. My Strada was a fun, fast ride, and a great weekend bike, but I was just too much hassle to keep up with two bikes with different sized tires and tubes. One bike or the other ALWAYS had a flat tire, and I was sick to death of dealing with it every time I wanted to get on the bike. About the time I hit my limit, a friend of mine reported that he had broken his carbon fiber frame diamond frame and was without a bike. He is in his early 70's and a pretty accomplished cyclist, but never had owned a recumbent before. So today, I hauled the bike up to his house in Sebring, he took it out for a couple short rides and wrote the check! He'll be a good convert to the recumbent way of life, and the bike will be faster than his diamond frame as soon as he builds the muscles. I'm glad that my bike has a new home, and that it will see some miles with the club there.
