Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

A few months ago, they said they were doing a re-design, and contact Optima directly for the bikes. Now, there page is down, no message, no website. Anyone know the story?

Hi Joe,

Hey that optima line looks sweet. Will ask about yellow bike as I think this guy in Houston can get them.
If you are thinking about a touring recumbent you as least should look at the Easy tour. It is probably the most used for touring but is also the same bike that holds the speed record. I like them because of the recumbents I have seen you sit in a much more upright position and the bottom brackett is lower.

Again Joe great job running this site .

Optima is now officially looking for a U.S. distributor. I heard this on bentrideronline. Optima was willing to let yellowbike restructure but it wasn't happening so they are taking the bikes elswhere. There is an authorized dealer in Canada and they have a website WWW.triketrails.com.
