New to the bent world

I recently bought a Bike E because I wanted to try a recumbent bike and wanted a more comfortable ride than my hard tail mountain bike. I know Bike E went out of business in 2002 and I had some reservations on buying this bike due Bike E's departure. However, it is in such great shape and so comfortable I couldn't resist.

Should be a good starter 'bent for you and can become your backup 'bent when you buy your next one.

Congrats. on your "New to you" recumbent.

Hang onto your Mtn. bike as you'll still be able to get a lot of use from it. There's no law that says you need to ride either uprights or recumbents, in fact I ride with a lot of recumbent enthusiasts and we all ride our uprights when conditions call for it.

Your Bike-E will serve you well for many years. Eventually you may choose to move to a faster or different style recumbent and if you do, the Bike-E could remain your back-up 'bent or an introductory recumbent for a freind to borrow.

Enjoy your new ride!!

+1 on the enjoy the ride sentiment...you will enjoy...and agree you should keep your upright for variety.
