    i find the coolest pics. considered a pedal car, meaning connecting rods, not a chain.
    do kids' 'bents count?

    i gotta ask- how does one get in/out without cripping onself up? is the cowl pneumatically moved?

    You simply climb down and in. The opening is quite large. The ones pictured are using 'kayak covers' to close in most of the opening, leaving just enough space for the rider's head to stick out. You can also get an optional detachable roof. Both can store inside the body. Between the two, they keep the rider dry when riding in rain.
