Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

My "mini shop" includes shop towels and a small bottle of alcohol to remove grease, and clean an area for band-aids to stick.

I havent weighed my trunk pack for a long time, but there has been manys the time it was worth its weight in gold for me or other riders. It has been well thot out over the years of riding, and what I carry and been pretty well refined to what is usually needed.

BTW some things like CO2 bottles and their valve, glueless patches, and a pack of tire boots weigh almost nothing.

I should check out my bag to see what's in it. I know there's a couple of inner tubes, road morph, patch kit and a lock. Aside from that I don't know for sure. It's such a handy size that I tend to throw stuff back there and forget about it.

I remember once checking my bag in the spring and finding a banana from the previous fall. The peel was leathery but, aside from that, it was surprisingly neither smelly nor messy.

The people that I dont understand are the ones that ride with exactly nothing. They are the ones that I have stopped countless times to fix flats and other simple mechanical problems. But they maybe they are the smart ones knowing that someone like us will come along and get them going again.
Having stuff to help others a great reason to lug all that stuff as well. I have doled out tubes, lights, pumps, aspirins, food, and tools (and probably other stuff I am not thinking of) though the years.

On the ride where I had the waffles, I had a camera. On the ride where I had no waffles, I had no camera. Unrelated? Hmmm.
