Thinking of a bent...should I take the plunge?

Also depends on if you are talking about a 2 wheel bent, or a trike bent. Trike bents have no issue going slow uphill, and no thinking or planning is required for stopping and starting. Having been a DF rider till age 58 years, after getting a trike (and I now own a high racer also) I have not ridden my old road bike once, now age 64, and am riding more than ever. The stiffnesses of age eventually make a DF impossible, in my experience. I say that as a former runner, mountaineer, rock climber, current backpacker, weight lifter, yoga practitioner, and cyclist. You can get a decent used bike or trike on Bent Rider, in the classified section.
