When is NACCC '06? IFBMA has early September, Trackstar has June and the official site: nothing.

I know it's early, but I need to make plans.

Cross posted with the 1% thread, here's the info for the London alleycat this SATURDAY

***MEET AT 11:15 this SAT @ the MONUMENT (right by the north end of london bridge. It's a giant ******** cock symbol you can't miss it).*** Don't be late.

Race starts at 11:30, no waiting, no bs. If you're not there at 11:15 we can't finish the manifest/distribute the manifest, leave on time so please don't screw all of us.

Try to bring some sort of a camera or a cell phone with a camera so we can use more checkpoints (nobody is manning them so we need some sorta proof) and if possible bring like 5/10 in change for various checkpoints (although those can be vetoed if need be).

Oh yeah, if you can, bring a few checkpoint ideas and we can throw em on the list as well, liven things up a bit.

So to recap.

Saturday, dec 10th, 11:15am sharp at the penis statue just north of london bridge. Start at 11:30am sharp.

Remember: 's, camera, checkpoint ideas.

Cheers,
1%

Actually, I'm 99% positive they moved the date to Labor Day weekend, but I can't find the email that confirms this.....phillybma's on myspace though...maybe I'll check to see if they've posted anything there.

The Kissena Cycling Club & Bike Works NYC

Roller Racing at the Brooklyn Brewery
Tuesday, January 17th 2006 at 7:30pm

Check out the fastest road to nowhere. Speeds in excess of 50mph
are routinely reached in thrilling head-to-head matchups on the
classic Barelli Quadrulet Competition Rollers with Dial Face. Up to
four racers can square off in a single heat where their silky smooth
strokes will be put to the test.

Come Race or Spectate. There will be ample opportunities to sample
Brooklyn Brewery on tap.

Racing will consist of 500-meter seeding heats followed by 1000-meter
head-to-head races done in classic match-sprint-style elimination heats.

USCF gear limit applies, 25 feet 3 inches (303 inches) maximum
rollout for one crank revolution. This allows up to 51 x 14 on tubulars,
and 54 x 15 or 47 x 13 on clinchers. Track and road race bikes allowed.

USCF license mandatory, $5 one-day licenses available on site.
Entry Fee $8. Prizelist: TBD.

If you've ridden rollers before, give this a spin.
If you haven't, please try at home before attempting racing.

When: Tuesday, January 17th, 2006
Time: Warmup begins 7pm. Racing begins 7:30 pm
Where: Brooklyn Brewery
#1 Brewers Row, 79 North 11th St, Brooklyn, NY, 718 486-7422
