some of you all ride real scary.

and whoever tries to race me when I'm on my way into work, or on my way home after working on my bike all day, you're a ****** bag, I'm glad I let y ou win, I'm also glad you can't stop worth ****, nor make your way through intersections.

god damnit I hate the spring/summer crowd.

pretty sure (maybe not warrantchief by his/her comment, but sarcasm is often lost here) that the few of us on the forums have met you at some point and know you're down-to-earth you can hold more than your own...

gregtheripper 08-05-06 02:29 AM

a ****** bag is a hygenic product, so i consider that a compliment..

ah **** all.

Caraxmarie 08-05-06 09:58 AM

Slower than the slowest of the slow.

thank you.

I'm also bad at matching up online alias' with real people at times.

I know I've met a good handful of you all on here from boston, and most are real good people.

there was a ride last night, it was real real bad. the amount of people acting totally inappropriate just because we were in a big group was horrible. Like, playing chicken with cars, when we're just supposed to go on a fun, playful, mellow ride is not cool, as well as screaming at pedestrians, taking up all lanes of traffic(it really gives us a bad name), and just riding dangerously.

Was anyone there last night? I was riding the bike with the cruiser bars and basket, I also lost my blue slurpie over by one lincoln on boylston.

warrantchief 08-05-06 03:13 PM

There was certain amount of sarcasm in my comment.

That being said, excuses are like *******s. Whining about the other guy's lack of etiquette/bike handling skill seems petty/like something a roadie would do.

You should only be allowed to ***** about the fair weather riders after they try to race you and fail.

yeah people should have been more together, but whatever.
you were complaining the whole ****ing time, trying to tell people what to do and what not to do...
but forsome reason you stuck with us the entire time?

I like riding my bike, I did stick with you all, I knew a bunch of people there as well, mostly, the people that were courtious of traffic. Me and my friend's jo and mike, and a couple other kids wanted to ride as well, it was interesting.

I didn't complain, I told people when they were riding like ****** bags, they're part of the reason that no one respects me and my bike as traffic when I'm ****ing working on it 5 days a week, and using it as my every mode of transportation.

say I was complaing, and that people weren't riding like *******s, and then let's fight.

I sensed the sarcasm in your response, and it was appreciated, I hope my return sarcasm was read as well.

I love racing. I'll race people if they want, it'll be fun.

people will always ride like ****** bags, especially in large groups. boston's traffic isn't going to get better because of you yelling at some kids about riding in one lane. there is critical mass every month and that too gives bikes a bad name, and makes cars pissed off. all about telling kids traffic saftey and stuff, but then darting through red lights when there were tons of kids behind you wanted to obey the light and not cut off cars??
so do you make it a point to come to every large group of people biking and tell them that they dont know how to ride bikes? and how they should be considerate of YOU and YOUR job? the way you act, i dont see how strangers would give a **** about what you think or about your job?? and the way you were acting the night of the ride gives messengers a bad rep.

i was there. iro with blue rims. sparks and bailey works make you a coooool kid...

there were some people who were questionable, i will admit. it happens. in time they will learn. in the meantime, i'll try not to let the actions of others affect me. maybe next time (if there is a next time) someone else should take the lead though, heh...

That's the spirit! Throw down the gloves!

pixel 08-06-06 11:30 AM

how about everyone just show up at Kings today (see Chuck Norris's comments), eat free food and play free pool, and then we all ride bikes and have fun?

I'd like to, but I have 3 more weeks in this ****hole, and I'm getting torn in half with people wanting my company. That would be rad though.

chuck_norris 08-06-06 01:00 PM

I was just being sardonic, I hoped you saw the humor in that.

When I was your age, this thread was about Bostonians organizing rides and hanging out.
