All I can say about the Fixie Four is "WOW."
Way to knock the teenage floor staff dead LBK.

The teenage floorstaff was awesome with their work-permitted selves. Don't get me wrong. Totally serious on that one.

In other non fixie related news:
Saturday, June 3. CSC Invitational aka the Clarendon Cup. Pro racing starts at noon.

After all that training, are you going to race in the pro race?

CM! I knew there was a previous engagement for Fri! Hey we can hang out in town or build or watch movies after CM on Fri. Saturday's for Rockville but Sunday is open post cheese and stuff or CSC. It must be a real challenge to stay focus on that course even with the potholes on wilson keeping you awake.

btw: with RPC bragging about his recent speed, should we have our own private pirate race? say a 40 or 50 miler.... geared.... PLEASE

You need to let us know when your next somewhat local race is so the Pirates can cheer on our sole legitimate racer!

May all your flights to Boston be cheap!

So the pillage calendar is:

Wednesday: Polo
Thursday: T-Shirt Pillage
Friday: CM & Cycling Cinema Workshop
Saturday: CSC (I thought it was CAT3 and up only?)
Sunday: Laps and Cheese

Is that right? BTW, I only said it took me 15 minutes less this time than the last time; I left out that it still took me over three hours to do it - slow in alot of people's books

Surly chain tensioner, shimano SIS rear and front derailer, shimano Light Action(?) rear derailer, some crap flat pedals, 40 and 42 tooth chain rings,(don't know bcd, off an old Sugino road crank). If anyone wants any of it let me know and I'll bring it Thursday. I'll be meeting up kinda late though.

The brown hornets are very senior ex messengers who still come out to run checkpoints.
Incidentally, Lindsay makes some of the nicest bags I have ever seen and she is local.

"respect"

The WAKA kids however are fair game...

What the hell are the segway kids?

BTW,
Just cause...

A few days before we ran into Joel outside the Pharm I wrote a comment critical of tall bikes.
When I was talking to him, I mentioned it.
post hoc non est ergo proctor hoc.
I wasn't talking smack about his bike.

However, I would like to build other freak bikes, trailers etc. I would be nice to have them out and about this summer. I am thinking especially of cargo bikes and tricycles. I know this would be a problem for apt dwellers but I will volunteer my garage.

I thought freak bikes were the SUV's of the "punk planet" set, and wastefull. Or does that only apply to tall bikes. I'm confused.
