Julie, I saw a bike with S&S couplers at College Park bikes today. It had polished/stainless lugs on each side of the coupler. It looked suhweet!
Lucky you.

sorry, K, i'm not willing to use the word "dong." it's just me. hope you don't mind being the ninja.

as for couplers, you should check out some of the possibilities on this website:
http://www.sandsmachine.com/carvlugs.htm
*mrowl* of course mine won't be gawdy and over the top... i'm trying to keep it simple.
seriously, though. here's what i'm really excited about: riding to and from every airport without having to lug or store some ugly hard case:
http://www.sandsmachine.com/ac_back.htm

and brit, why do you need to go to bed at 11:30pm? that's odd. i don't get it.

I had four meetings at work yesterday the first at 7:30am and I fell asleep in every one, I also fell asleep on the metro coming home, so I really needed to get some party prep sleep for the weekend, hence the need to be in bed at 11:30pm. Bikeforums and photoshop was keeping me up....

On subject of "dong", I agree with Chimbly dong is wrong, less dong more goat

Those couplers are sweet.

oh chimbly...the dong isn't as malicious as all that. originally, in exchanges with a friend or two, k-dog...was mistyped and the 'n' was inserted. it stuck. 'dong' wasn't the intent, rather the unsuspecting 'dog' had an erroneous run in with the letter 'n'.

please no hate on the k-dong. much love is intended. but YOU may call me the ninja if you want

The collet greens will be vegan! but someone will have to pick up garlic and 3 can of veggie broth.

If we get veggie broth, there may be pan fried noodles w 3 (san) mushroom sause..mmmmm also veggie, if not vegan. Q; is oyster flavored sause veggie?

Any Pirates or lurkers that do not have an idea of what to bring, I take $

or please call me and we'll work it out

Anyone who would like to do their cooking here, please also call me to pre-arrange kitchen time.
