alright then peoples! it looks like we've almost made it through another day.
don't you just LOVE the intarweb?
god it just melts away all my desire to do any real work.

thank you bikeforums
thank you

in other news:
tonight i'll be down at sherwood around 7ish
i'll be trying to stay warm the best way i know how.
making friends with the locals, sharing a bottle and a blanket,
you know... the usual.

i've been given a green light to play this evening, so, i'm game on.
i hope to see a bunch of you at some point in the evening.
but then again, i know how cold it's going to be tonight.

Check out Cairo Liquors at 1618 17th st. I *think* between Corcoran and Q. Really great selection. They usually have anything you could want.

Polo, POLO, Polo!
Tonight, traditional 7 pm start. 14th and K.
Seems like there will be many stragglers. I myself will not be arriving until 7:30ish.
There are usually several sidelined/sparks drinkers to hang with who aren't playing, including myself. (Because no one's caught on yet that I've never actually played polo! haHA!)
PM someone for/with cell info if yo plan on showing up late and want to catch up.

LBK: check this out How often do you adjust the back wheel/chain? you would probably have to do some sanding to install it like that, or check out Christoph's method on his fixed gear bike...either way christoph and i can help you figure out how to fix your tension problem.

Thank you for finding that. It's not an urgent problem, but perhaps I should investigate.

Haines Point Ride Sunday, 11 am. Meet at the tennis court parking lot corner.
It's k-dongballs' last official pirate ride. Right? Tell him how much you'll miss him with a wrestling match, a wedgie, and a thumb in the keister.

We will ride laps, eat grilled cheese, ride some more, and have a grand ol time.

Thanks to Spud for those Yarrrsome stickers, I am having a competition based on three pirate favourites; pillaging, humour and prizes......The prize is a "Pirates Pleasure" beer bottle jacket (see spuds if you wanna know what it looks like) the challenge is the best placed "Pillaged" sticker as provided by Spud, photographic evidence required by 14 February and I'll make the decision with a judgement of Valentines love.

Do your worst

EDIT: NO PHOTOSHOP!

I have exactly the same tensioners and did the sanding. The only difference is, that I installed them on the inside. But, I don't know if I would buy those particular tensioners again.
