come now, fellow pirate: hath ye forgotten the *rules of pirating?

-all facial hair should be ill kept but not uneven
-no first mate shall grow his beard longer than the captain
-prisoners must be tied to something. no exceptions!
-bring your own citrus
-no feather shall be taller or more delightful than the captain's
-when in doubt, swab
-captain has his first pick of seawenches
-if deck is salty there wil be lashings!
-no pirate shall plunder/abscond with/bury a fellow pirate's treasure/booty/wenches

*thanks to mcsweeney's

FedEx is uckin dumb as ***. So the dood ships my bike in two boxs so the frame doesn't get damaged. Stem, Bars, seat post, seat, in one box and frame in the other. This was all shipped on monday. Well the box with the parts is scheduled to arrive friday. 4.5 days by truck from Reno. Not bad. But what the ***! The frame is in Sacramento, CA! I mean, in almost 5 days, it went 100 miles in the wrong direction! God, i hate fed ex. They are so stupid.

they'll probably put the frame on a plane... you'll get it!

if you want a list of highly successful waiting-for-bike-sanity techniques, let me know. it involves cans of PRB and tubes of phil wood grease, but it works.

That sounds even worse than the yuengling + maple syrup!

I guess I'm the only Pirate not digging the warm weather. No windows to look out of,and I get to go home to a oven. I live on the 7th floor and can't turn off the heat(can only block the vents),so if the wind's not blowing in the right direction,it's gonna be freaking hot in my apt. It was 77 inside when I left at 9:45 this morning, prolly be pushing 80 when I get home.
