Thanks Cara. The race is going to rock, ladies and gents. Team Gigantic presents:

Toothrot Alleycat, $5
Register at burial ground on the Common (Boylston St. side) at 6:30. Race at 7pm.
Special bonus for racers in costume!
Cash money to top finishers. Also, first fat kid prize in full effect.

Flyer forthcoming, checkpoints may or may not be posted in advance. Keep checking back and pass the word, homies!

that looks cool... we can just have two flyers..

now please please please tell everyone you know and get people to come out! this is my only worry, that it's such short notice there's going to be mediocre turnout. the race is going to be fuuuun...

we're finalizing the checkpoints now and may be posting a list/suggested route before the race.

It would be a nice change of pace to have checkpoints ahead of time.

Which is to say: I get lost all the time and boy would that be a a relief.

I hit 6 outta the 9 (I think, or maybe I hit 5 outta 8) checkpoints in the last one... Checkpoints ahead of time would be NICE..

Okay, your request has been noted. Now, print that flyer and spread it like wildfire! Let's do this! Post in bike shops, myspace, parked bikes, dorm rooms. Everywhere! We'll also have a second option for a flyer in a bit.

There is a reason some people do well in these races, and its not all sprint to the finish.

^^^ I agree, I've been trying and actually getting around a lot better lately.. and I just got a better map after mine proved to be worthless in the last alley cat.

Still checkpoints ahead of time would help me out, it's not like I'm not gonna go for it regardless.

I understand the logic behind not giving CPs ahead of time, but for someone like me who's not gonna win regardless and doesn't know the city very well it would be nice.

Checkpoints are nearly finalized, ladies and hombres. I do still need one or two valiant souls to work a checkpoint. Please send me an email at rsarnold[at]gmail.com.
