No, no, no. I picked up the Nitto Tee19 Black Gruppo, not the Carnival dvd.

Wow, I'd have to say just the opposite. What was so lame about SD? San Francisco has cool stuff to see and do, but the people are absolute pretentious dicks.

I liked San Diego last year for the most part, but it didn't seem all that great. So again this year it was just lackluster. Downtown is pretty typical and surrounding areas are way too "bro-ey". After you see the zoo, beaches and surrounding art and tourist traps...you're left feeling empty. All of that said, PetCo Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the world.

San Francisco was great. Everyone we encountered was nice and even when out at night (bars, etc.) the people were low key and super friendly. I'm sure they have their drama too, but we didn't run into any of it for 4 nights in a row. I will agree that the SFians do carry a certain "we're better" tude...but they live in SF so I was alright with that.

I actually had a guy drive out to where we were walking around on Haight and show me a Bomber Pro frameset I was interested in buying. Super nice people, amazing food, cool shops, sick sights.

I even caught myself saying "Stay Up" when I was talking to a friennd yesterday...lol. Oh yeah, "Hella Hyphy" is used A LOT in SF... at first I thought people were joking when they would say it. Nope, they just use that phrase A LOT.

Corey,
What'd we do with that rim? Did you put it somewhere in the shop?
I don't have your # on this comp.
I was looking for it to have it ready tomorrow and couldn't find it.
I was pretty out of it though so maybe it was right in front of me.
EDIT: Nevermind. I remember hangin it up. Guess I didn't look up.

Who cares about clearwater? Also, I think some Hippie is having a race up there soon.

This is the store Luke and I went to late last year. Long story, but the guy's mother ran the shop into the ground and eventually passed away (or something like that). Anyway, he was thinking of keeping the shop and opening back up, but it's in a bad location and he didn't have the time/money to put back into it. A few guys from Tally made the drive down last year and bought a few things for their co-op. Luke and I did a quick look around, but didn't see much right off the bat.

I'd think that given some time and a good eye you may find some gems in there. It's a big shop (converted warehouse like garage thing) in a residential area. He had a ton of nos BMX stuff and lots of road bike parts.

Would be a great oppurtunity for us to start a co-op of our own if we could all come together and make it happen. Actually, that's a great idea. If people have some extra time and money to invest in it I'd be game.

A co-op could be done, but we'd need hella federal funding. It could be crazy expensive otherwise.

I can run a tea stand inside the co-op! It would be radical.

Dijos is right though. Co-ops are totally hard to get up and running. Danny from tally could tell us. Where are you!

I don't think we have enough crusty vegans to justify a bike co-op.

What's going on tonight? Holy Mountain show?

My birthday is on Sunday. I propose we all get wrecked, then wreck on Saturday night in memory of my faded youth. Plus, you can buy me drinks and watch me throw up on myself.
