Los Angeles: Tour de Sewer
Anyone else in the LA area doing the tour de sewer in bell gardens this year? I'm doing the 15 mile because I have a wedding to go to in the afternoon.

I did the tour in "04. I have other plans this year though. I did the metric century, not the 15-miler. I think that the 15-mile route just goes along the river path. Pretty boring IMHO. The really interesting parts of the ride are up and down Turnbull Canyon Road, the climb up Fullerton road and the ride along the top of the hill before decending back into Whittier. Oh yeah, the BBQ chicken lunch was excellent.

How was the tour de sewer this year? We plan on doing it in March/April 2007. Probably the 30 miler. What's the route taken? I have heard that the post ride lunch is excellent, catered in by Outback? The Lions club has been putting this ride on for a long time now and we have never heard anything negative about it?
