I just noticed that Soma makes a bar very similar to my weirdo bar that I found in the basement at Cavern last year.. https://www.somafab.com/arcbar.html
I think I'm gonna throw that back on if I do polo on Sunday. Probably easier than drops.

On the hunt for hot weather road helmet. Not forsaking the fullface, but smog days are callin' and I'm definitely going to be out on longer harder working rides than just commuting. Any frugal suggestions are welcome. Venting is the rule, and doesn't have to be awesome brand either. Thanks so much for any and all input.

Wheee. I just finished totally clearing up all the work I have been letting backlog for months. If I work really hard tomorrow I might actually find myself in a situation where I have nothing to do, which is kind of scary because I'll obviously be given some huge project if word gets out that I am idle.

Bell Furio!
It's the one that cracked in my accident. I loved it muchly. I think we're selling it at Bikes On Wheels for 70 bucks.

Call me The Breeze
I've been happy with Giros for the past few years. Expensive but nice if they fit your head well.

Only one helmet fits my head well, it's that one that comes in small-medium and only urbane has it. Very lame colour scheme though.

TJ - i like Giro helmets but i find they are a bit shallower than others so they sit on the very top of my head. for someone with a gigantic planet-sized conehead such as myself a Bell helmet would probably fit better. i've been wearing a giro pneumo (sp?) roadie helmet for a few years now. nice and cool etc. but then again, fitting a helmet is personal like fittin shoes so try em on partner...
