i was going to head down around that time. i'm late for everything so don't wait for me, i'll hook up with you guys in line.

i wasn't kidding about the espresso; i'll make some and from there it's BYOTWM (bring your own teeny weeny mugs). i think this will be the earliest i've ever been to the bike show.

Not going, focusing on getting Wes' bike ready for tomorrow. Wes, check your email and give me a call if you see my special brand of bike swag on "stupidly cheap" sale.

That was Nestor....encyclopedia of all things cycling. Among his many awesome bicycle achievements is a bike that you pedal forwards to get moving then has a bigger gear that you pedal backwards....some really crazy stuff. Nice to meet you too.
The show was kind of blah. It was funny seeing Dan, Jeremy and Matt swoop in on the only 3 Catlike helmets. Bought a nice Nike wool jersey for $30. My buddy Barry picked up a Steelwool cyclocross bike from Cycle Solutions...then his friend bought the other one they had. They will both be on the 10am line tomorrow. Good times.

Agreed. I saw you all leaving (I recognized Matt Rennick's and Dr. Benway's bikes), but I didn't say hello because I uhh, well you all kind of intimidated me. Somebody was riding in backward circles and I can't even skid. So I went home. It wasn't a total bust, though – I picked up a Rolls saddle and a CO2 inflator for cheap.

My last helmet was a Sweep XC...liked it well enough. Those jerseys for $30 was the best deal there I thought. Who gets to be Captain and who is gonna be the Stoker?

i'll stoke (stoker? i don't even kno-)

yeah that booth had a long sleeve wool jersey there as well but only in women's sizes. it's funny, everyone there was gobbling up the discovery jerseys and the wool remained relitavely untouched.

Didn't find any rims, but got some shoes and some Ryder glasses with 3 lenses for $20.

Bit of a bummer there wasn't much more that I wanted, but was fun. Thanks for the pass!

i gots me a saddle too! a selle italia for only $40!!

no helmet unfortunately, but good deals on booties, undies, and glasses (3 lenses for $20 - you can't go wrong). stood in line forever to pay $1 for grips for my raleigh like i was talking about to some of you. i also gave up and bought the shorts i've been wanting in a size large... they're a tad baggy in the cuff, but oh well.

sorry to have missed y'all at the end.
