I've been thinking about that too.. Seems like it would have been a fun time.

If we do a bike-forums golf tournament, I vote for having a bike-forums bowling tournament too.

Yeah, same here. Not so much for the time off, but because I'm already doing regular group rides on Saturday mornings. Sunday mornings are my errand time now (doing laundry + grocery shopping), and also more of a rest time. Later in the Summer after the charity ride I'd definitely like to keep doing regular longish rides on a weekly basis. Plus, starting with coffee and ending with food is always going to hook me.

I think I will join you this week, if you don't mind. Are you riding fixed or geared?

Me as well. How many K's do you usually do? I can go either way (fixed or free pervs) so it's all good. I would prolly prefer free if we are gonna do 60+ tho.

in the neighbourhood of 100. i typically take bayview north out of the city, cut across one of the sideroads near newmarket across to keele or jane then south back into the city. if i'm feeling strongi, i'll do a loop around the holland marsh in there too. i will be riding my fixed as it is my only functioning bike and i put the word out to the guys in the toronto fixed group so this is typically a fixie ride.

Ah i'm not worried about that, need the full stiffness though, for when I'm putting those 4000W to the cranks.

you can still get a superstiff mtb shoe. sidis come to mind. but if you're doing a lot of road riding, with look cleats or whatever then it's smooth sole baby!

Not if you don't give me a stern lecture for riding with fenders on mine (and mismatched at that).
