I bought one from Urbane for cheap because it was raw (hadn't been painted/shined-up) and it looks great after I had it powder-coated with my frame. I think it was 75$ or so.

i usually budget 5 hours for 100km taking into account water stops and what not. so i'd say 3 latest. i'd like to be back for a later lunch.

hahahaha... it's a bit hard to read but i think the writing below "keirin" says "lucky legs". fixedude, correct me if i'm wrong.. i was expecting the next pic to say "lucky ass"
hey goki...i assume you mean the writing above the keirin logo, which is "lucky legs". the writing below the keirin logo is "wakuwaku campaign" ("exciting campaign"; FYI, wakuwakusuru means `exciting`).

O.K.....24 hours and counting. Just heard from my buddy who was planning on coming to the track with us tomorrow. Unfortunately SWMBO (I love that acronym! thx Ed!) put her foot down and he will not be able to accompany us...so one less ve-hickle. With Wes's car and my van we can take 9 comfortably...I can squeeze in an extra body if need be. I will be bringing 2 bikes so I currently have rack space for 2 others. I think most are renting so that should be enough? Make sure to remember yer shoes, pedals and helmets all. Also does anyone have a good 35mm camera with slow shutter speeds? Most pics shot tend to turn out really fuzzy but the 35slr's seem to take some nice shots. Who's gonna be the official B.F.S.S.F.G.F.C.V.P.?

On another note, does anyone know what's up with Parts Unknown. There's some mouthbreather selling jewelry in the alleyway and it looks like access is blocked. This makes me sad.
Hrm, click on my sig and there is a shot of my bike that is at a funny angle and it looks borked as well but it really ain't. However, that "Fuji" looks kinda crappy, but, whatevs.

too busy drinking and eating to check out the bikes. actually, i was thinking about it but thought it was too much of a hassle. i'm pretty monogamous when it comes to bikes. made it to a keirin race though! but i was too much of a coward to rip off any posters.

Ow.

Somna and I call dibs on audio/visual club detail. I'll bring the DSLR, p&s and the ... *dun dun DUN* handlebar mount. Somna's planning on bringing his DV cam.

And yes, level of excitement is currently approaching "asian schoolgirl."
