my vote was on
TORONTO

One gear

I wasn't so hot on the idea of some pseudo-latin phrase but I could live with it.

TRaffic Jammer 06-28-06 08:54 AM

that's why I haven't submitted a design, I figured you guys had texed it according to what I had been reading.

naw I just had my first super coffee and am trying to find tire patchs that really work like the ones in the old day's,, remember the ones that once you put them on they never leaked or came off and you could have seven patchs on one tire tube and it still held air...... any idea's Bro?

Any quality feather edge patch should work fine. Not letting the glue dry fully before putting the patch on?

i know what you mean; i keep a pile of damaged tubes in the basement and fix them with proper patches when i have time at home (not fun by the side of the road). i use whatever kind the sell for $2 at urbane, i'm sure keith sells the same sort of thing. don't forget to clean the area you're patching and wait for that glue to be mostly dry before you put the patch on.

The CV was weird. 32 and Op were all aloof. And that was before the burning!

Maybe they're just scared of my hair.

SamHouston 06-28-06 11:16 AM

Yah, and glueless works, but not for me. Old school vulcanizing all the way, so many patches it feels like a mtb tire after awhile

what are we talking about?

operator 06-28-06 12:49 PM

I don't know we need some js

TRaffic Jammer 06-28-06 12:51 PM

I can honestly say I've never had difficulties with a patch either at home or on the side of the road, as long as the cause of the flat isn't still in the tyre. Back in the day I "used" to be able to do a three minute patch-and-go, never taking the tyre or tube completely off. My fine motor skills have suffered since.

If you don't gamble you can't lose. One vice I'm happy never took with me, though I have played a few games of pool for money.

STEEKER 06-28-06 01:02 PM

getting married is a gamble ,, I just started to have problems with patchs two years ago no bleeping clue as to why but I think something is out to test me to see if i I break my word.

Shiznaz 06-28-06 01:03 PM

Pool is a skill game though... not really gambling if you know you're better than the other guy.

32flavours 06-28-06 01:10 PM

Bloop? I just dragged a bike travel case from Dufferin/Bloor back to my place in the Annex. So. Hot. Outside. Off to Edmonton tomorrow, back on Tuesday. Don't have TOO much fun without me.

P.S. Why is the bikeforums IRC channel set to invite only? Sniff.
